NewsYe Scurvy Pirates!
Aarrgh! We’ve just found out that a pirated PDF version of the Turkish-language version of our book is currently sailing around the Internet. While we appreciate the effort to further spread the Istanbul Eats word, we also believe that the 11 lira price tag on the book is eminently fair and we encourage Istanbul eaters to fight off those scurvy pirates and go out instead to their local bookstore and buy an official copy. It’s easier and more economical than printing out every page yourself, and a little bit of that price tag actually makes it back to us so that we can keep this website going.

Sorry to hear that guys. Piracy is literally uncontrollable, but on the other hand it also shows that your work is on the ‘appreciated’ side of things.
Just to look on the bright side, that is…
Cheers

So sorry to hear that. You shouldn’t translate the book in Turkish 🙂 Never. However it is virally spreading. (Hayırlısı)

Just saw the Turkish version of the book in a toy store in Nişantaşı a couple of days ago. The two copies they had were appropriately placed next to the Silly Putty.
Well done, my friends.
