Happy Birthday Istanbul Eats!

It is no coincidence that today, April 1, Istanbul Eats celebrates its one year anniversary. When our site went active one year ago with our first post, a review of Beyoglu greasy spoon Lades 2, we thought, “Well, if this site never takes off, we can describe the whole thing as an elaborate April Fools Day joke.” Almost 100 original restaurant reviews later, we’re still here and eating more than ever. And today, we’ll be eating cake, or, better yet, a happy birthday chicken breast pudding at our first stop, Lades 2.

Thank you to all of you readers and supporters out there and stay tuned for more in the coming year!
